11th September ** Stop Press** Osea Island now Brightlingsea

The venue for the Osea Island BBQ has now been moved to Brightlingsea. The overall plan for the weekend is still much the same as before except we will now be going to Brightlingsea and the BBQ will be held in one of the many indoor BBQ centres in Brightlingsea. The advantage is that you don't even have to cook your own food - there are people to do it for you. Don't know why we didn't think of it before.

For those thinking ahead

Don Elliott is thinking of organising a repeat of 2009’s Ski Trip. Should there be sufficient interest his intention is to organise a BCC trip in late February early March 2011 along the same lines as before i.e. catered chalet, in either France or Italy.
