By
all accounts the Tollesbury trip was a resounding success.
Not the sailing section you understand, but the evening hot
buffet. This you must realise is not Bradwell Cruising Club
but Bradwell Cuisine Club. Ten members enjoyed a well
prepared and presented meal but only one boat braved the
short crossing of the Blackwater, that being Saltpetre,
skippered by Peter and crewed by Mike.
The
weather mainly was responsible, but our resident Lord
Nelson, (Stuart that is) he of only one good eye, devised
another excuse. My advice would be to read the instructions
first and not use the full contents of a tube of superglue
when only a minute drop is required.
